Builds like FoI, AAR or Acid Purge are suppose to face tank the bosses?
or they need to kite around
Because I have my FoI build venture into Ultimate, I feel so vulnerable.
All resist overcap, 33% physical resist, 3K OA and DA, 1.9K armor and 80% absorb
yep, they’re supposed to facetank, kiting is preferrable to be used with DoT-builds.

It was unique build so I can’t complain about that. Right now, I play with Mirror and rotate with ghoulish hunger. I can survive but my health go up and down really quick. That why I feel so vulnerable.

FoI now one of the worst skill in the game without normal support
We have Lightning Damage and nothing can do with it
We have Mageslayer Set and this set is one of the worst set in the game too

Damn it. Without realizing it I was doing meme build the whole time. But hey, at least I tried. haha
ED and AAR builds can and should facetank bosses. AAR can do it even as beginner’s build.
I can enlighten you, how to make those, if you want.
I didnt tried FoI, but i suppose, it’s meant to facetank too, if made properly. But you probably have done it wrong, somehow.
Well I face tank by Mirror and Ghoul but I don’t know how much defensive status I should get to go though Ultimate.
Channeling builds should facetank everything,yes. FoI have some weapon damage, but is minor thus life steal is limited. Also you have other defensive mechanisms to cope with the problem. Being Inquisitor based build allows you to use Inquisitor seal as defensive tool.
Sadly aether FoI isn’t as strong as AAR counterpart. But doesn’t mean your build is going to suck much 
Capped resists, decent ADCTH & DPS, 100% armour absorb and items with not too low armor (relating to your level).
Every resist is important. When i transitioned to ultimate with my AAR toon, i had all resist capped except pierce. And i had bad time VS Cronley gang.
I wish FoI has something else in return for limited range except DA reduction.
Suck or not, soon we’ll see. Every time I fight bosses or nemesis. I feel like if I miss click one ability just once I might die.
So far, this build is still kicking.
I’ll try Golemborn, my latest theorycraft has 97% absorb with 2400. It might work out.
Well, pierce & bleed res are probably the least important ones. You’ll experience troubles only VS some enemies without themm, while lack of other resists might cause troubles with vast amount of enemies.
As for armour, the more the better, of course, but 2.5k is already enough. To be honest, i’m farming SR70 and 130-150 crucible with 2.5k armour.
The Cronley Gang is one of the areas and factions that needs high pierce resistance. Oh - all those guns!
