About conversion

Hello there
Looking for some advice

  • Blight Fiend (Necro Pet) deals acid as well as poison damage
  • I get a modifier on one of the items that converts acid damage to vitality damage for pets
  • since poison damage is acid damage over-time:
    will poison damage get converted to vitality decay
    or will poison remain unchanged and the Fiend will now deal vitality and poison damage?

when the dmg type being converted from and into both has dot then the dot is converted
