In the worst case scenario, if AP would’ve indeed had twice the damage of the fully upgraded PB, it could’ve just been something that the devs overlooked and nobody stumbled upon because AP isn’t that much used in general and you also rarely have to make a choice between AP and PB as a filler skill that’s spammable, so you can start analyzing which one is worth more (based on the cost of investment). I also admit that I haven’t used at all PB in my builds so far. I’ll certainly get to it at some point. And I also might employ the use of filler skills like AP more often, using the strategy I mentioned earlier - to buff more powerful skills with cooldowns and have AP (or others) as a filler skill between cooldowns.
I think I’ll play this build concept, because it maximizes the number of projectiles (13 total) and manages to convert almost 100% of the entire damage of PB to aether. Plus, it has a lot of lower resist debuffs (-140% total) and defensive skills to reduce damage taken. And has 200% casting speed.
So you’re aware, that Conduit that adds 8 projectiles to PB also makes PB a 360-degree attack. So you’ll be a lot less likely to shotgun all 13 projectiles into one target.
Pretty good for hordeclear though.
What does that even mean?
