yes , also my ele and bleeding res was huge problem til mid 60 so I cant get rid of the Wardstone
Hello! Itās my first guide that Iāve been following since I started on Grim Dawn.
I would like to ask why do you use 1 dagger and 1 sword at 50+ and not dual sword since its dps output is higher?
Thanks in advance!
Cause I loose pierce to acid conversion which directly drop significantly my Shadow Strike damage
Ohh I see, youāre right, thanks!
Noob question here, but I donāt understand how you use the WPSs in the endgame version. The budget version uses Beronathās Fury as an auto-attack replacer, but as far as I can tell, the endgame version doesnāt, so Iām assuming thereās something Iām missing. Thanks! ![]()
Endgame version doesnāt need replacer ,cause Deathguard set drop Shadow strike CD significantly, however budged version needs replacer to stays on par on terms of damage cause uptime between shadow strikes is much longer
Just to add to this answer, if you put a cooldown skill (Shadow Strike in this case) on left click, you will auto-attack when it is on CD, which will trigger WPS.
Oh, so you just end up using the basic auto-attack (when Shadow Strike is on cooldown), then. Didnāt even think of that. Thanks! ![]()
Excellent as always, bro! Gz.
Very creative on devotions and I liked the idea of using of daegaās on the budget setup.
Yea ,itās nice set on a budget , thanks for the kind word ,mate
Noob question here, but I donāt understand the use of ABB in the level/low budget version. Do I use ABB or the Auto Attack replacer (troll rage)? Thanks and sorry if this question is stupid ![]()
ABB is used ALONGSIDE the basic attack replacer. You use Beronathās Fury as AA replacer, but hit ABB every 8 seconds.
Key is the upgrade node for ABB: Lethal Assault. This gives you a huge flat cold & acid damage bonus to ALL your attacks for the next 8 seconds. Including your auto-attacks, including Shadow Strike.
Annoying bit is that you have to remember to use ABB every once in a while. Which is why the end-game version doesnāt use it: It uses Bone Harvest in much the same way (hit skill every X seconds to get buff) and trying to use both skills would cost too many skillpoints and would be too annoying to play.
Flats from Deadly Assault are fully converted so this is massive boost to auto attacks and shadow strike and since we canāt use Deathguard pre 94 ,ABB boost just replace Bone Harvest so we stick to general idea of the build and level prio to the endgame setup
Which build are you currently working on? ![]()
I work on Spam Bone Harvest Ritualist by community request , itās half way done and itās a blast
Awesome, gonna be a very fun build. Default cooldown is somewhat too long for enjoyable leveling from my experience.
Tons of fun level 56 so far but is total blast
Recently put together the build. Leveling guide was very helpful along the way.
I had a question about thr end game, not fresh 100, setup. Specifically the Viloth Ring.
Why that instead of the set(?) Ring: Deathguard Sigil
(I know its not technically part of the set, in terms of bonuses, but it seems like it is part of the set by name and bonuses).
Beyond getting that specific paring of aggressive for the % oa, it seems that thr deathguard ring is better in every way. Am i missing something?
Deathguard sigil lacks offensive ability and build drops a lot of firepower , Viloth ring is more flexible just in min max purpose . You can still play with Deathguard sigil , you will loose some clear speed but nothing significant
Hrm. Yes while lacking the % oa, i figured thr % attk and casting speed would make up for any speed loss. Maybe im missing something. Also the extra effect for another damage source.
