Add a 25% WPS to Witching Hour

I played this character a while back: Plan Hellhound Sentinel

Having an extra WPS on the weapon would allow me to reach 100% activation chance while using Hallion’s Crest.

Personally I really like the barrage type attacks with 2H guns. So that’s the one I’d most prefer. But I’ll take anything. Explosion, multishot, whatever you got. Also, the Witching Hour RR could be put on the WPS instead of the buff. So if you play a hybrid build and attack all the time, you get more RR uptime from your Witching Hour.

Is any of this needed? Absolutely not. But it would make the build more cohesive and awesome.

Sure, let’s cut the pet bonus, which the item is intended for, to make it an item that works totally differently. :rofl:

actually if you optimize your build you will lose most of your wps anyway

for the relic eldritch pact, bysmiel domination and mogdrogen ardor are all better

for the amulet the conduit that converts dog to chaos completely

also if you invest 80+ skillpoints in only hellhound, then I recommend the overseer for medal since it will has 0% innate slow resist.

I suppose the RR could go on both the WPS and the buff.

@gargabolo I don’t want to optimize my build. I want to play a hybrid build.

any pet player actually using that gun would be sad about losing the pet dmg bonus,
the RR part is the least consequential there…
meanwhile losing a ton of flat dmg and huge % boni is just a giant chaos pet nerf
wps “tradeoff” doesn’t even begin to be worth/make up for that on any existing build using it as intended, for pets (heck it might not even be a net buff to your hybrid there either at its dmg spread)

I don’t recall asking to delete the pet bonus. Where did you get that impression?

(we don’t get 2 granted skills on an item anymore/no fun allowed i guess)
your solution then being to move the RR to the wps, but that doesn’t fix the biggest issue/the RR isn’t the important part is my comment; loss of the pet bonus is, that Z nudged at with his rejection

I know, my ‘optimizations’ were given assuming you want to play hybrid gunner + dog.

but you don’t necessarily need a lot of WPS for that
