Add a way to find current Nemesis location

Hi, good morning, I’ve had a hard time looking for nemesis bosses to farm, I see it like a little waste of time looking everywhere in the map on each session to be available to find them.
I have this idea: on each session, for each n number of kills of a given faction, the game give you hints of the locations on where the nemesis actually is, it could be a overlay on the map that will turn from green to red indicating the probability that the nemesis is around that spot on the map, e.g. you kill 100 ch’thonians and there are 5 spots on green, you kill 250 and there are 3 spots on yellow, you kill 500 and there are 2 spots on orange, you kill 1000 and there is a spot on red with the nemesis on that area with 100% probability.

There could also be some kind of warnings at those milestones, that could say something like: [some nemesis] spotted near [some region] instead of that map overlay.

That way you could reward grinding and save some time for some players. (I like to save some time on that repetitive tasks)

That was my idea, I hope you find it nice to be applied.

Regards

does this idea suck so much? :frowning:

A nemesis meter once it fills up the nemesis spawns in your area with the message “The Undead (or any faction) have had enough and have sent their best for revenge, prepare to DIE”

I’d love to see this in-game. Would be interesting to have a few special elite packs of mobs related to that nemesis that show up before you fight the nemesis.

Diablo anyone? ouo

I’ve seen this suggestion before, but am too lazy to dig up the old discussion. TL;DR: No. Won’t happen.

Even though I agree it would be kinda cool.

Did Diablo II have this?

Are you talking about when we sell A Specific Unique Ring in multiplayer and Uber Diablo appears or how when we activate the 5 seals in ACT IV to release Diablo and he comes at us saying “Not even Death can save you from me!” (P.S his only line in the game)

Also i see some interesting ideas. But i think the best part of Nemesis spawns is the surprise. I mean they hit you when you least expect them to. If they spoiled that it won’t be have as challenging.
For instance, say you’re on the Anguish Level of SoT and Chillwind spawns. If you don’t know he was going to be spawned it’d be a challenging fight which will test you improvisational skills and your reaction time. If a warning was given then you’d either be like “Nope!” or go “Not even Death can save you from me!”

Would be more practical to increase their spawn rate though

I have to disagree, especially when you know most Nemesis location spawn point. When you get to that point, you’re never suprised. Futhermore, players that actually farm Nemesis are those that actually play quite a lot the game. At least that’s what I ‘‘assume’’ since you need to finish the game and have decent gear to face them. So there is a form of dedication from the player. Also, It doesn’t take much time to know ‘‘most’’ of those locations.

That being said, for me the hardest one to find is most likely the chotonian one. I wish devs would do something about it. Having a way to know where they are after killing monsters from one faction would be great, like the idea from this topic. Also reciving waves of heroes/monsters from that faction beforehand would be really cool too!

When you put it that way, i guess you’re right.

I thought this mainly on the fact that it takes too much time to find them on each session, and I don’t have that many time to spare :frowning:

Maybe I should just wait till I have many free time to play lol
