Hi, was wondering and playing with this builds was i were feeling like i can do more but cant reach that, i got two variants of the build but i felt like those are felt from the initial goal, here are the builds in cuestion:
1.- the original i tried: Thane, Level 100 (GD 1.3.1.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator, focused in morkovian and bloodfangs
2.- the second focused in only markovian: Thane, Level 100 (GD 1.3.1.0) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
would thank any advice, btw it can fight practically anything for now, including The Dread, sorry for the annoyance
lack of RR, no maul, low speed (cadence likes speed), wps stacking but taking cadence, while having low cadence modifiers, not benefitting much from leap there
Makes it all the more puzzling picking the Guts set since not utilizing anything from it - in which case it could just be transmogged
A build should generally invest a lot more in its main damage skill. That means:
- Hard-cap the important stuff by getting +skill gear. (Deadly Momentum & Cadence, especially the former.
- Use as many items as possible that give bonuses. (Extra targets, extra WD, damage conversion, bonuses to Deadly Momentum. For cadence general flat damage & flat damage to deadly momentum are much more valuable than flat damage to cadence, as the latter isn’t multiplied by the WD multiplier.)
Your builds have invested far too little in Cadence and its attendant skills, in my opinion.
You instead invest in WPS, but WPS don’t work very well for cadence. They’re for skills like Savagery and RF. For those, the multipliers on the main DAR stack with the WPS. For Cadence, you get EITHER a (weaker, not stacked) WPS or your big cadence hit.
And that’s on top of what Gnomish said about lacking RR, Maul (armour shred), and having less than optimal attack speed.
So honestly I’d go back to the drawing board and look at either different gear and sets or a different build using different skills for this set.
