GD currently doesn’t have an option for aether Aegis of Menhir. The Will of the Living shield could have a mod for aether Aegis and instead of +2 to Maiven it could have +1 to Oathkeeper. Possible combinations for builds using Krieg’s set or Bonemonger’s set would open. Arcanist, Necromancer and Inquisitor combinations with aether shield would become possible. It could also be combined with some support for aether Vire’s Might to this shield.
Hey, I get that it’s your second or third most favourite skill after OFF and maybe Vire, but we have physical aegis (full set support), fire aegis (full set support), elemental aegis, lightning aegis, acid aegis (retal and non-retal) and chaos aegis (full set support). That’s quite a luxurous support. Most skills average around four types, with Rune of Hagarrad being an absolute loser in that regard and is available only as cold or vitality.

There is only one shield that deals aether damage. I think that adding more support for this aether shield would be nice. And it would already have good support with other items. Other skills may not have as good support with other items.
Edit - there are two aether shields - Coven Protector is the second.
