I’m looking for some advice on my build. I finished ultimate with it, with only the clone army giving me headache. I can solo all nemesis bosses, although one or two mistakes means death. I cleared crucible on aspirant and currently on wave 120 of challenger. I also tried gladiator but it seemed brutal without any blessings/towers.
My problems is usually with getting stunned then quickly overwhelmed. Or in gladiator the damage output of enemies is just crazy. Here is my build (without gear modifiers): http://grimcalc.com/build/gKtainv
I’d prefer to stay aether based caster, but if druid is no good for that I would be willing to reroll to arcanist+x. My gear setup:
Head: Outcast’s Secret, sanctified bone
Shoulder: Fateweaver’s Mantle, silk swatch
Chest: Iskandra’s Vestments, silk swatch
Hands: Aethereach, dense fur
Waist : Sash of the Immortal Sage, antivenom salve
Legs: Wraithborne Legwraps, silk swatch
Feet: Wraithwalkers, antivenom salve
Amulet: Essence of the Grim Dawn, arcane spark
Medal: Mark of Anathema, black tallow
Ring 1: Albrecht’s Duality, frozen heart
Ring 2: Screams of the Aether, frozen heart
Weapon 1: Clairvoyant’s Wand, imbued silver
Weapon 2: Consumption of Agrivix, aethersteel bolts
Relic: Agrivix’s Malice
Augments:Outcast’s Wrath, Uroboruuk’s Path, +poison/vitality resist augs

I would put only 1 point in modrogens pact and fabric of reality. And I would consider removing all but one point from arcane will as well. The benefits are quite small, especially from fabric of reality, with your gear you will have around 1000% aether dmg, that 132% from the skill barely adds anything at that point. Same for arcane will damage modifier. And the regen from modrogens pact is, for that many points, tiny.
I’d put those points in things like elemental balance, olexras flash freeze or perhaps more shaman mastery and oak skin.
If you’re willing the rebuild this character go sorceror, demo gives much better synergy with your skills, mostly the fire part. And gives some survivability from blast shield.
First of all thank you for the input! Mogdrogen’s Pact gives ~ 60 energy regen per second. I find that vital due to the cost of AAR. Coupled with Arcane Will (which I try to keep up majority of the time) it gives a huge energy regen boost as well (~ 160 EPS), which makes AAR sustainable for a decent amount of time.
You are right about the fabric of reality, the dps boost it provides is minimal so I saved some points from there. I also removed points from Mirror of Ereoctes since above 12 points it doesn’t offer cooldown reduction and the dps boost to it is not signifcant for me. I’ll try out flash freeze and ele balance, though I suspect they won’t strengthen my survival too much. I try to keep to my druid but sorcerer does seem like a better alternative.
If you want to keep druid you should greatly lower the skill points into some of your skills namely Fabric of Reality, IEE, Modrogen’s Pact (if you can take the mana regen hit anyways) and Arcane Will.
Take those points and get a max’d Wendigo totem (will help IMMENSELY when you need to stand in place with the beam) and also get a good Flash Freeze (4+ secs)
Also it seems odd the inclusion of the Clairvoyant’s wand here, something like Wrath of the Ascendant or even a Warpblade would serve you far better here.
