Aether EoR Feedback

I did test a lot of different setups for this archetype, including DW version. It’s not bad but there is some oddness. The best I put together is this one; Oppressor, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator It can do SR 85 but not without dying, can kill Reaper and Valdaran most of the time etc. Anything you spot on it? Yes, it doesn’t use Temporal Arcblade because that one is very bad. Building with Templar doesn’t provide any more %Aether Damage than Oppressor except a few stat Qol’s and it’s not tankier either, so Oppressor is the way and Screaming Veil work much better on Oppressor obviously. On Oppressor side you don’t need that Adcth mod on the conduit, it contributes to the Templar but not Oppressor so I don’t how to balance it.

My point?

  1. Change the Adcth mod on conduit with something else, maybe with Fumble or Impaired Aim? Racial damage can be useful if it’s possible or maybe OA shred again if it’s possible or maybe some DA since all setups lacked DA.

  2. Add an EoR modifier on Temporal Arcblade.

  3. Change global conversion the conduit to elemental>aether.

And for Templar versions 2H - Templar, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator / DW - Templar, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator

Worst one ofc is the DW one so;

  1. Dreadfire can use an EoR modifier, preferable some %WD mode to utilize flat damage from arcanist side.

Thanks for reading, feel free to share your opinion on the matter.

because EoR doesnt’ scale truly on DW apparently :sweat_smile:
someone on the discord tried and got better results using this

, since there is minimal dmg lost the way EoR does pseudo dw, and you get some fat phys res

as for removing the ADCTH, i don’t think my dervish version would appreciate that :thinking:

yes, the fire conversion feels like a troll tbh :pensive:
as we know lightnign to aether is rare af, so only way to even (partially) convert soulfire is elemental conversion anyway, which the EoR helm leans towards anyway, so might as well “synergize” a bit better with its intended paired partner item i think
