GD is missing set support for aether Demo and Necro.
Any ideas on how it should look like?
Nightblade could be put into the mix. Sabo also needs always more.

Could be Arcanist also… Aether Sorc also has no support.
Which reminds me that Callidor´s set needs awakening…
And the entire Callidor´s Tempest skill also needs to be looked at…
I would see it more like Fire Strike and Bone Harvest. Weapon slots free. Ideally head, chest, shoulders and gloves.

I originally had bone harvest instead of siphon souls but didn’t want to suggest too many conversions.
So there is one aether set. Forgot it because no one really plays Callidor…
But still we need some for FS.
Callidor set is for Inquis also so it is not the same.
It was in response to you suggesting that Callidor set get awakened version, which I think would be unlikely since there already is a set supporting aether/fire Callidor.
As for adding arcanist to the defiler set, I can’t think of an arcanist skill that isn’t already supported elsewhere (as aether) and also pairs with Fire Strike. Callidor is ruled out, Diviner set rules out Devastation, so it would just be some aether bonuses to a passive like Reckless Power.
Maybe shaman instead of arcanist?

Could do something down the lines of the Aetherstorm accessories.
Which currently is just Wind Devils and Devastation Lightning/Aether.
Sprinkle in some Spectral Binding and whatever Demo skill you want (Stun Jacks would probably make the most sense in terms of supporting build variety with Lightning AND Aether builds but you could do other things)
Then Awaken the set and plop in some Aether RR on Wind Devils and Lightning RR on Spectral Binding (Plus whatever Devastation/Demo modifiers you want)
Support this with your new Aether Defiler set that can also mix in some NB/Shaman.
As for what exactly, I dunno… Sabo already has Harra’s for PB/SJ. Defiler already has 2 different RE/BWC sets (One blue and one purple), Aether Siphon is on basically everything, Lokhor’s does BH/Grenado…
It would feel less exciting to just get the same skill pairings again just in a different damage type, so I dunno really.
Personally, I could go for some cool green BWC. I also want to meme around with LH+SH global buffs. But that’s about as far as I can think on the topic.

100% would have liked to See an aether Fire Strike set. Been asking for aether FS for years but we sadly Never got for anything for it.
Fire Strike as default attack with OS Stacks and than Aether Grenado or Aether Bone Harvest to consume the stacks.
Maybe a 4 piece armor set so you can Play melee/ranged 1 or two handed and leave the Amulet Slot Open for a Conduit.
