I have been searching the forums for information and guidance on how to test/play Grim Dawn in the Alpha phase.
Will there be a separate topic in the forums for Alpha testers? How will the design team/programmers communicate to us their list of “look for this issue”. How would they like us to respond?
Or, is it so simple as playing the game and reporting problems encountered/observed?
There’s currently a small team of players/relatives testing the game in pre-alpha phase. They are squashing the major bugs for us now. (they have encountered some. That’s why we have to wait a little longer for the alpha release)
When we get our hands on the alpha, they want us to provide feedback on the content & feeling of the game.
Getting out the smaller bugs isn’t the actual purpose of alpha testing by the community.

look up a movie call The Dark Crystal.
That particualt scene was when a Podling was having its life essence sucked up by the evil workings of a Skeksis (S-kek-sees) who was manipulating the energy of the broken crystal to do so. With it the skeksis can remain young and strong and the drained podling can be used as a mindless slave.
Its one of my all time favoirites even if its like 31 years old.
