Altered Skills: Random?

A quick question about the altered skills new feature of the expansion:

Is this going to be random or each item has a specific list of possible altered skills?

They’re the same for every base item, but some items can spawn with prefixes and suffixes which will add other stats to the mix, if that makes sense.

For example, every “Vampiric Bonewall” Monster infrequent item will have the same skill modifier, but sometimes these items come with prefixes and suffixes.
As an extension of this example, a “Demonic Vampiric Bonewall” will have the same skill modifier as the base item, but its other stat bonuses will look different from the base item.

I…think you misinterpreted what OP wants to know. The question is not how affixes affect based item. The question was about a new feature of expansion, i.e. skill modifiers, like 100 fire damage to Flames of Ignaffar, etc. Are they random or fixed.

I didn’t misunderstand. I’m clarifying that skill modifiers are not randomized even if the stats of items on which they are found may look different (due to affixes). I answered the question in the first sentence and then clarified that affixes don’t affect skill modifiers, which would have been a logical follow-up question.
