Meanwhile you put 1 point in olexa and you freeze the entire screen.
It is realy,really, annoying.
AMB is the nightblade main attack and in my opinion deserves better.

No its not, not by far, its more a skill that you use to buff your self than any kind of attack.

JoV is right btw, DW builds use ABB mostly for Lethal Assault because it somehow only hits with the offhand.
Also ABB’s main purpose isn’t to freeze, if it were it wouldn’t be 25% for 1 second at rank 16. Lethal Assault provides a buff that makes the bulk of many Nightblade builds’ damage, while OFF is exclusively a trash clearing skill. Different purposes much ?
Also I find it funny that you resort to attacking the guy who factually corrected you.
If you wanna use ABB as a main attack, make a 2h build or a ranged one. Then it may be worth your while.
My point It provides freeze and nearly never freezed.

This is all Amarasta’s fault for coming up with such a lame technique! She does not deserve that Master of Assassin title at all! I bet a change to 100% freeze to all monsters and bosses should suffice and make everybody happy :rolleyes:

Some people use this skill to buff the offensive stat, the cold damage. Yes, its not a safe freeze, for that I would use Ring of Steel + Ring of Frost playing as melee. 8% chance for ABB on level one, 100% on Ring of Frost. On non boss mobs.
In the beginning when I played Nightblade I was pretty confused I had to use autoattack that much, that includes skills like Cadence which are no real skills. I`d prefer if there was a real skill main attackS! for melee Nightblade but it is as it is. And it is still pretty fun. Unspectacular but okay
-ABB does freeze enemies, its freeze is different from OFF which is 100% chance to freeze.
I use ABB Pistol Breaker and i often notice the freeze effect
-My tip to you is to pay closer attention cause I had similar problems in a build that uses ABB as LMB since it was hard to distinguish between the default attacks and ABB. I eventually got used to ABB’s animation and was able to easily spot the freeze effect
It’s easy to get lost b/w ABB and the intermediate default attacks if you are unfamiliar with the skill animation.
-ABB can very well be considered Nightblade’s main attack skill provided you are a DW/2h ranged Nightblade otherwise for melee Nightblade the main attack skill is Shadow Strike
ABB also doesn’t work well with Melee Dual Wield since it only hits with Off-Hand.
So yes the people correcting you are indeed right
-Also you should be a little more polite to people who are factually correcting you, misbehavior often gets threads purged or closed which doesn’t do anyone any good.
-Finally, my personal thoughts on the freeze topic are that since freeze is useless against bosses I think we should get a 100% freeze chance
