An argument for Inquisitor seal

I find the seal ok in melee but I find it very annoying for ranged characters,

mainly because if your mouse cursor is targeting an enemy in the distance and you spawn the seal it is placed a tiny bit too far away from the player to actually stand in the aura, so it constantly causes extra mouse movement that seems unnecessary. If this was fixed I would be fine with the size.

I use a maxed out Inquisitor Seal with every one of my characters that has the Inquisitor mastery, because the cooldown (without transmuter) is manageable, but it’s true that you have to basically place 3 seals and jump between them during boss fights, keeping the boss inside that triangle for consistent fire damage.

I wouldn’t be opposed to a transmuter or item that supports a “ninja” playstyle by removing the cooldown but reducing the summon limit to 1 seal.

Reduce the cooldown to 3 seconds, make adjustments to items and the transmuter as necessary.

Reduce the max casting distance so that it will always touch the player upon being cast. Or increase the radius to achieve the same.

Also consider the same sort of adjustments to Wendigo Totem, which has much of the same problems.

Had no idea that Blood of Dreeg equated in some way to Inquisitors Seal.

The seal is a very strong skill (offensively and defensively) and having to maneuver around in order to benefit from these benefits constantly is “a price I am willing to pay”. I do not see a need for it to become any bigger, but I agree that the visual fx should be adjusted to match the actual buff area of the seal

Well, the change that was proposed when I said that was to make it a personal buff that moved with you… kinda sounds like Blood of Dreeg, or Pneumatic burst… or Word of Renewal.

couldn’t find the screen with the spiderman seal, but i once had an instance of :inquisitorseal: appearing vertically on a cliff side too :laughing:
