“freely transfer soldiers between companies”
I’m playing v0.9.7 right now and find the word “freely” to be used in vein here. It seems there is no way to move individual troops from one company to another and thus cannot split up a company into two separate buildings (Fort or Stable). For instance, I had been using the same 12 horsemen for a while and found as a single group, they are often over kill for the bandits in their smaller individual parties. I wanted to split the group up and so I created another Stable. It would be great if we didn’t have to create anther stable just to instance a new company, but the problem I found was that the option to transfer the troops to this new company comes at a cost. You can’t split them up. What’s the point in this transfer mechanic then if the unit just stays together? Might as well just move the whole building.
