People need to calm down about the play test being pushed. At least it’s getting pushed back to get stuff fixed rather than just releasing something with a bunch of bugs. I see people complaining about bugs but it’s an early access game so of course it will have some bugs. It’s not fully released so just calm down and give them time

It’s better to have no commitment than to tell the timeframe and delay it

Grab some patience and stfu guys. You ever accomplished something yourself? Cause then you’d know that not everything always works out smoothly and sometimes you just need a second try. Man, the last playtest was so full of bugs that it was close to unplayable, y’all seem to ask for something even worse. ‘Oh I am so important, I cannot wait any longer’ Just shut it and get a life, you’ll be able to bridge the remaining couple of days easily then.

Exactly! Also, did you guys ever think about on how it makes the dev team feel being pushed like this all the time? I’m sure many of us know how stressful it can be when you have to meet a deadline. Be it at school, uni or at work. And yes, I know that sometimes you can push yourself to limits and beyond, especially when you’re having fun with what you do and when you’re motivated. And I’m pretty sure this applies to the dev team to quite some extend. But, while you can overperform over limited periods, this can’t and should not be held up over extended periods of time. Being forced to do so can drive people into situations, no one really wants to be.

Just think about how much devotion the team has put into this game already and be grateful for it. Cause this is not something that can be taken to be granted. They have a marathon ahead of themselves, not a sprint, for which they will need much energy in the months and years to come. So, please, be patient and appreciative.

Also, next time your hunter gets killed by a boar due to some minor bug or something, take a deep breath and think about this before you immediately start complaining like “unplayable”, “worst game ever” and such.

Cheers

I understand all of this…it should be a great comfort to the designers that people are anxious and excited for a new release…the excitement and anticipation is a sure sign of a great game. Also people need to relax and respect the process that has given us such an amazing game! Much love!

Well said! People just need to learn patience and to be grateful for what they get especially for an early access game. Patience and respect is what we need for the dev team. Yes we need to tell them about bugs but don’t get mad when it’s not fixed right away. There are a lot of stuff they are working on and they can’t stop what they are doing just to satisfy one person. People have just got out of control with the way they talk to some devs on any game. And to call it “trash” or “unplayable” just shouldn’t be said. If you don’t like it then just go to another game and keep those negative comments to yourself. No need in being rude when you can just say what you have going on so they can work on it and get it fixed when they have an opportunity. People complain about optimization and yes it needs it but it will take time to get where it needs to be. It’s not a full release game so just be patient and help the dev team with positive feed back. Help them so they can help you.

I understand what you are saying but think of this. They could have kept the timeframe and gave us what they had and what if it had been so buggy or something that they had to delay it? At least you know it’s coming and know that they are doing their best to make sure it’s mostly bug free so we can enjoy it. I’d rather have a timeframe and it get pushed back just to make sure everything is working properly. I am really excited for manor lords in April but if the dev needed to push it back 6 more months for some reason I would be all for it. It takes a lot to make a game and have it work properly and people just need to be patient

I haven’t realised there were livestreams! Where should I look for it?

Twitch I’m not sure if they have youtube as well.

Yes, they do.

But communication would be nice. I just appreciate it when people don’t leave me in the dark even if it’s vague like “soon”. Because silent treatment is the worse. Just like I recently bought a handmade item that was supposedly available and the delivery time was between 7 to 14 working days. But after waiting past that delay, I still had no tracker or any communication from the seller. I had to ask what was going on and then she replied : “I didn’t have it in store, so I had to buy the materials and make it from scratch”. I didn’t mind that fact it can happen, what I do mind is that the seller doesn’t feel the need to communicate the issue. It takes 2 minutes to make a : “We are sorry to say this but we underestimated the bugs and the work to do. Please bare with us for a few more!”.

Zantai does communicate.

Yes, he sorta slipped up by not posting about the testing here as well as in the Steam forum, but he’s still communicating.

so can i ask wats going on coz im confused is the 0.9.2 out this month coz i happy to wait coz dnt want another cities skylines 2 do we lol?
