So before everyone says git gud, I just wanna ask why is she so hard? My build can facetank all nems (including eating Alexs’ meteors) at shard 75-76, so why is she so bloody difficult to kill? I died like 3 times in a row to her, any tips for this fight?
She has very heavy resistance reduction.
eat an aether potion, she seems to reduce your aether resists the most by 40% at least. Then, avoid her meteor showers they are super deadly, just like that Ram’zul storm shower, also her aether rings (similar to “Agrivix Malice” relic) are also very deadly to your health.
So basically, kite a bit and you should be good with the potion.
Ok, thanks!
Git Gud overcap aether and fire resistance mostly, since she reduce all resistance by 50% with her basic attack, her aoe devastation and trozan like skill can be avoided, but careful in a bit melee range with her shotgun which contain 7 projectile.
Thankfully unlike Ramzul, she don’t debuff you with massive 700 DA.
From experience, this hardly means anything. I have found out that depending on the build, some purple bosses can be flat out worse than Nemeses like Grava or Reaper. Morgoneth for example can be ridiculous easy for some of my builds, but to others he’s a complete bully.
This starfall is deadly, even you hardcapped res.
Anne IS Outcast Nemesis, and her skill cuts down your res by 50%. So it’s advisable that hardcapped your fire/aether res by at least 30% (80+30). If you can go higher, congratz she’s a child toy.
What others have said. Unlike most bosses, she doesn’t use -x% res or x reduced res, she uses x% reduced, more accurately 50% reduced. So she takes the total % res you have and cuts it in half. You got 140 % Aether res (a hefty 60 % overcap)? Cute, now it’s 70% total. And that’s on her default attack, so it’s not like you have to avoid just one particular skill. She’s kinda insane in that way.
I also like the mention of Ramzul cause fuck that guy too. Checked his numbers again and again, still don’t quite know how he one-taps 15k health characters like it’s nothing. Given how much SR empasises survival, it’s pretty bullshit.
Hard hitting physical attackers become strong as shit in high SR because their physical damage is scaled to ridiculous degrees. It’s why Benn’Jhar becomes a major threat, same for Moosilauke and same for Ramzul (he has a close ranged melee attack that hits almost as hard as Aleks’s meteor and it’s fast and his lightning rain deals physical damage).
Thing is I’ve never had issue with any of those. Benny I usually welcome as a free kill cause he has exactly one threatening ability and it’s telegraphed like all hell. I can face tank his melee attacks after his enrage even with most of my casters. Moose can be a little bit challenging at times but more because of area denial and the need to avoid his wave + TSS combo, but most of the time his actual hits don’t scare me. If I’m melee I’m tanky enough to take them and if I’m ranged he’s too slow to ever get to me.
I have yet to have trouble with any of Ramzul’s other abilities. Every time I die to him, it seems to just be his basic attack that suddenly erases me through 15k+ health, 20%+ phys res, 15%+ DR and full armor absorption. A basic attack. No telegraph, no warning, just a sudden squishing sound.
This is within SR75-80 range. I’m sure beyond that even Benn slaps.
Anasteria is pretty nasty with that 50% RR shred. That’s why in Crucible (and in SR) it’s important to have very big overcap to aether. 40-50% as mentioned is good number. Also try to manually dodge the meteor attack. In non-bosses shards and in Crucible waves she can stack RR with other mobs/bosses, so it’s imperative to be careful. You can check your resistances mid-game but I find it a distraction.
85+ Benn is one shot killing machine.
The infamous mummy slap.
He’s most dangerous when he slaps you in the rain.
Anasteria is the generic Ex wife that everyone has, even if they didn’t think they had one.
