Annoying lightning weapon

We have lot’s of lightning weapon. Some of them seems to be good, but not… I am sick of try to build around weapons that are just have some bullshit stat.

It’s great, but ultos, light defender set don’t provide the support to work well.

I would love to try that, but 400 electroduce dmg to primal strike and 400 to Storm box of elgoloth. What??? This suggested u to use storm box of elgoloth in melee? I missed something… and why primal strike? If it will be savagery than work well with light’s defender.

Outside of gimmicky semi-effiecient builds, no, it’s not viable to build around those swords if you want to farm Crucible.

The sad thing is vertragna made his fire candance build wich is great and doesn’t haveto much -RR so i figured out to make the lightning version but too sucks…

If savagery will be candance that would be great.

i maneged to do 150 with Trickster and elementlaist but not working. I didn’t tested stromheart Maybe i will.

I do not think all weapons, items are builds are supposed to be used in crucible builds. Crucible is an add-on to the main-game.

Exonerator is decent. I use it in my gunslinger vindicator along with luminari set. But I use it only because there are no better alternative for savagery gunslinger.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. Why would you assume it’s melee?
Mythical Evoker of Elgoloth already offers bonuses to Savagery. Why suggest to have 2 weapons that do the same thing?

I think the idea for Raka Jax was to stack electrocute damage and kite. Generally people always pick the transmuter though.

Raka is a greatewapon.

Only thing that is needed is extra %electrocute duration in GD in general

There is a lot of good 2H lightning options, but one-handed lightning weapons are kinda meh, outside of Daggalon`s.

I’d hardly call 2 axes and a Mace a lot of good options (especially since 1 of them is an electrocute weapon)
I mean there isn’t even an M.I. 2h Weapon either.

I think ptiro’s talking about 2h Gun. Because evoker of elgoloth is so good. Also don’t forget ugdenbog sparkthrower

Yeah, but savagery is better then firestrike. I didn’t see firestrike fire build except Guns users and savagery work well with 2 handers.

The cast range on Stormbox is extremely large. What exactly are you talking about?

I think you have it confused with Stun Jacks (which works better in melee range) or Storm Totem which has a really poor cast range.

Trying to get my balance sorted now to be less squishy but not loose too much dps. I dig my char but feel I am in desperate of better gear for my build. I went with Shaman as my secondary but see that Arcanist could also be used for lightning build… any advice/opinions on this?

Currently top tier lightning builds are ones based on Ultos set, Stormreaver vindicators, Storm Totem vindicators and Wind Devil vindicators, but they all require specific sets of legendary items.
