disclaimer
a. just let me know if they’re already exist and works perfectly.
b. if you don’t like one of the following, relax it’s just a simple suggestion posted online, not an official update. maybe the devs have the same impression that it was a joke/ waste of time to implement.
.
gameplay/feature suggestions:
- add 3 slots of equipment-set/loadout, which currently only support the weapon. (as a warder, my build sometimes in between of attack speed, tank, and pet).
- human companion with the classes, equipment, we can decide.
- a new type of weapon: LMG, RPG, SMG, some turrets, & etc.
- a detachable each attribute stats system, hence low-level player/ beginner can play with the elite, making them easy to collaborate if they want to play co-op without creating new character.
- incremental achievements:
- kill 10 white enemies, you get “common cleaner” level 1, kill another 1,000, get level 3.
- kill 10 yellow enemies, you get “champion cleaner” level 1, kill another 1,000,000, get level 6.
- perhaps you can split them more based on race, type, and factions. this game already has a lot of detail you can utilize.
- more detailed stats we made during playtime, and you put them into the achievements table makes the game more interesting on some people.
- a list of hero/boss respawn time especially those that often drop monster infrequent items. then you can choose & bookmark maximum three monsters somewhere on the corner of the screen.
- an auto-move toggle button.
- ability to choose NPC dialogue option using keyboard, instead of mouse click: option A press keyboard 1, option B press keyboard 2.
- expand loot filter system to be more diverse. e.g. weapon only show yellow & above, but armor is green, and then accessories is blue, etc.
- item to spawn mercenary for a short time period as a reward from the faction reputation benefits.
- a new creature that has the same mechanic with phase beast from torchlight 2 game.
- add an option to:
- enable special quests on each time you start the game, which obviously can be gone when you exit the game:
- kill certain amount of monster at the certain area, and/or gather items from them.
- defense the specific area for certain amount of time, like mini crucible put in the main game.
- delivery or interact certain object quest, and so on. y’know. MMORPG experience thing.
- choose low resolution textures; having a vanilla product, I’m happy with x86 version. it makes the GPU goes 42-45’C on first few hours. maybe with optional low-res textures selection, I can achieve the temp of 39’C: 256px, 128px, or even 64px.
- enable in-game day & night time to follow the local time zone.
- simplify damage digits. e.g. 65,535 become 65,5k.
- recolor health bar based on its percentage (meanwhile the energy bar would be blue, I guess) h/t Count and Color Healthbar (CACH) mod:
- above 75, green
- 75-51, yellow
- 50-26, orange
- below 26, red
- see & choose any important marker from mini-map to reduce the distraction to always look at the map while walking. (I did try to turn it off for a while, and almost missed a nemesis while on the ‘underground transit’ area.) it’s either using the following:
- running around in the edge of screen like a floating quest marker,
- sticky notification like the treacherous domain. or,
- added on a quest list while in the area.
- choose a custom weather to be cast right away for a permanent or certain time period. Pluviophile
- enable special quests on each time you start the game, which obviously can be gone when you exit the game:
mods idea:
- remove player level requirements from the equipment.
- reset level to 1 each time hit certain level (30).
- add a universalist class, all classes added in one existed character.
