Another Newb tring to mod

My name is Jedijimi. This will be my first venture to modding so bare with me. I would like to create weopons and armor. Eventually more, but I’ll start with just weapons then move to armor. I’m playing my first modded play thru with Dawn of Masteries. Noticed there wasn’t enough drops for some of the masteries in there. So I have some thoughts to go about this.

First, I backed up my files just in-case. Done
Second, I start and setup Asset Manager. Done
Third, Shit, now what, look at you tube tutorials. Found a tut. on maps and GDStash.
Fourth, ask forums for a starting direction.

So, here I am looking for the a start. I was thinking best way to go about this, was to make a mod, make the weapons then use GDStash to move them into DoM mod to play with.

Start with a mod for your weapons, but once that is done and you want to add them to DoM, you will need to add the files to DoM and rebuild the resulting combined mod. GD Stash cannot help you there
