Another question about dual pistol vitality oppressor build

I’m following an oppressor dual pistol vitality build which is listed in the top 20 builds.
I don’t understand why the build I’m following doesn’t take Dreeg’s Reproach to convert some damage to my main stat for my auto attack Righteous Fervor.
Am I misunderstanding something? Please help this little noob out.

Here’s the build:

Cheers :hugs:

The reason is that because it would give you “Phys → Acid” conversion
(which would result in 50% Phys → Vit and 50% Phys → Acid split)

and you don’t want that because of a lot of flat Physical damage on Rebuke for example
or in Seals of Mights componets / Smite skill.

It’s more important than this Burn damage that doesn’t stack.
The author probably tested the DPS with this transmuter and found it suboptimal.

To add to what tqFan said, between the guns having 100% fire damage converted to vitality (if both their rolls combined into 100%), and three items having 100% elemental damage converted to vitality combined, the build already converts all fire to vitality. The helmet has a skill modifier to Righteous Fervor that converts 100% of its physical damage to vitality damage.

So ye, you don’t take Dreeg’s Reproach because you would be losing damage.
