Any way to disable the Automatic Item Comparison (Popups) on mouseover in Inventory?

Back from a longer GD break, - now perceiving the Comparison Popups really distracting. Esp in lategame when your equipped items have long list of additional enchants/modifiers etc. Its annoying as hell and cluttering the screen.

Is there any (hidden) switch or mod that helps here?
(would be so QoL WIN if the comparisons would only pop while holding an modifier key …)

(auto-item-tooltip affects something different)

No way to change this from what i’ve seen.

I scaled the UI scale to 0.4 on the slider in video options to help with this.

As a workaround you can unequip your gear. Probably only worth doing, if you want to check a lot of items.
