Which is completely useless info as I’ve already stated… No one here can help you and Crate cannot do anything as you refuse to provide any useful info. All you have said so far is that your cheated build is too weak and that Crate should balance the game to suit your build without giving any info at all.
The game is hard…fix it.… Not a useful set of feedback in the slightest…just loads of words from you while ignoring anyone actually offering advice.
Here’s the thing, he is having trouble with a cheated char to faceroll NORMAL. How is that even possible?
It clearly shows either OP is trolling or just isn’t good at games at all.
I’ll try legit. Stfu.
Also. I meant peak in difficulty level only in Malmouth city, which I think shouldn’t happen. Difficulty should increase linear. You can’t faceroll content and then bam, suddenly you’re dying even though having good gear. Just that. Relax people.
Edit. Next thing. You can’t trade items wih other people in game, so farming is a bit hopeless. in that particular case D2>GD. Now kill me.
Since when ??
People try to help, you refuse to give the info to let people help and then give that reply, you’re really not helping yourself at all.
Single mastery builds are inherently more squishy as they wont have as much base stats from a 2nd mastery bar. So your ability to dodge and crit will be forever lower due to less physique and cunning. Id suggest putting points into soldier mastery or something. Even if you’re not going to use the skills it will help and you can always remove those mastery points (note: you wont be able to remove the soldier mastery itself if you choose to do so).
You’re playing the wrong game and wrong genre. The real game doesn’t start until cool sets with powerful procs and powerful devotions. ie: Ultimate.
Not to mention the genre is about loot not story or killing the boss and saying yay I did it. Also LOL @ using one mastery.
This was pretty uncalled for, tbh. And you’re kinda projecting your own standards of fun onto someone else, who clearly has different standards for fun.
But, to the OP, like others have been asking for, upload your build, so people can give you real advice. I’m not sure why you’re avoiding doing this. People will give you actual help, and advise you on how to improve your build. All you need to do is spend a couple minutes uploading and linking to your build. Its not a large time investment. Much less time, in fact, than typing out another argumentative reply.
Your other option is to just up your cheating. I’m not judging. I’m just saying, you’ve already crossed that threshold, so you might as well at this point, and give yourself gamebreaking stats. I mean, if story is the only driving factor for you…
Bullshit, he’s playing exactly the game he is looking for. I play Grim Dawn for the same thing, aside from minmaxing.
How is this contradicts playing for the story? You can play the game for both loot and story, actually.
He is huh? Meanwhile he cheats to get around the gear. The story is nearly non existent as it is in all isometric ARPG’s. I could write a better story on the back of a restaurant napkin.
AoM isn’t “hard” it’s as “hard” as any other bit of content. Game is hard with bad gear and a lack of resists, game is easy with good gear and capped resists.
Namely Aether and poison.
The genre and game is about what the person playing enjoys, be it the story, looting, killing etc. Also around 85% of all players NEVER start Ultimate, so as you can see what you enjoy in the game isn’t what the vast majority enjoy as they don’t play Ultimate.
It’s a single player moddable that can be played as wished, so this isn’t the place to dictate what is the “real game” and how to play.
Let me explain…
I meant only peak in difficulty, that shouldn’t happen. Also, I play mainly for immersion, Cairn is believable, I like hacking&slashing in this world. Lore? Well, that wasn’t best word to describe.
I’ve deleted my old chars now I play legit. Still have fun I guess.
Oh really? So all that lore content with thousands of story pieces connecting the world don’t count, huh? I say again - there are people playing Grim Dawn for the actual story, me included. If you ignore it, that’s fine, but telling that this game has no story at all is pure bullshit.
Nope, no other part of game content has this many enemies with mechanics specifically designed to slow down the player.
The story was the one thing that let me play it again (and again).
And now I´m here in Ultimate and happy as a pig in mud when I find a lore note I didn´t have before.
What’s hilarious is you’re a cheater that’s complaining because the game is too hard. You cheat to give yourself gear, you might as well cheat and give your self a million HP.
This post is one for the record books.
Lol
On another note, i highly suggest you start over from scratch and grab a build off of the forums, follow it step-by-step and learn the game, you will thank yourself for it down the road.
You’re not as smart as you think.
First. If I have problems in Malmouth city with full gear, legit people would have more trouble. That’s the point. I’m not talking about whole game or whole exp. It’s about peak im difficulty in Malmouth City, only one area. Legit players who play their own sometimes lame way would have trouble. That’s shouldn’t happen on normal. Jesus.
Second. Godmode is different than having items library.
Third. Following premade build step-by-step is fun? LOL. I’d rather cheat and play my way. You have to realize that different people have sometimes completely different playstyles.
Fourth. I’m legit now, I’ve changed my mind.
You can edit in all the gear you want. if you don’t put the correct items together your build can still suck hard. I can finish AoM on veteran in yellows with a few greens just fine by prioritizing the proper stats.
Stats like:
100-150hp x your character level
5-6k dps with minor resistance reduction
10% phys resist
Fire/Lightning/Cold resist maxed at 80
all secondairy resists 50+
500+ % Damage boost to the damage type you’re doing
Get at least 1 defensive devotion proc like Chariot of the Dead
And don’t spread your skill points all over the place and make s ure to get close to maxing out your main damaging skill.
That should be sufficient to clear AoM on veteran at lvl 50+
Try to max out stun resistance and don’t face tank to taller guys than you.I learned how important high stun resistance with bitter way.Died lot of time but now I can manage hit and run without stunned.I think its the way to learn the better game play. You can sacrifice a bit other resistance for stun .Output will satisfy you and saves game play time.
you don’t have to max stun resist. 25-40% is sufficient. You do need to try to get some Trap Resist up as well though.
It just me our those poison bolts casted by Carnivorous plant hit really hard ?
i was in mostly greens still when i went in as a summoner necro and didnt have an issue, what class are you?
