AoM Nemesis - please reduce the number of their spawn points

Not sure what the expectations from Crate are on this - there are over 2 dozen spawn points for all the new Nemesis in multitude of very vast zones.

Farming for their MIs is mission impossible, first you need to find them which can take up to 15-20 min at least - just to locate Aleksander, Kupa or Ravager.

Just reducing the number of possible spawn points to 1/3 would help and would make farming Nemesis MIs a bit acceptable vs just GD stash whatever you need like majority of the player base is doing.

As a purely self found player (only transgression i did is clone 100 bloom flowers since this shit is ridiculuosly boring to farm - like a flower farming simulator…) and would like to keep it like that however forcing players to a worse grind than an Asian MMO is pure punishment.

Once Crucible gets updated and flower costs are reduced in upcoming patch game might feel less grindy

They will never do that. Back in the times similar requests was made for Benn’jhar or valdaran, that can spawn in really too many areas, and they just added new possible spawn points for the latest in Port valbury

Grava and Kuba are really easy to find (i always bump into these guys even if i’m not looking for them). Alex though has way too many spawn points, i think its 40 which is insane.

Actually they have done just that. During early access Valdaraan for example had many more spawn points, like the Burial Cave and various cellars in Burrwitch, among others. These were all removed to make finding him a bit easier.

I personally feel right now on the Pre-Xpac nemesis

Order/Kymon Super Easy to find
Fabius REALLY easy and LOT of heroes including the always valuable Cronley
Moosie easy to find including spot near Kilrian (often valuable for his component). Main issue is the Key for SoT but it is the fastest dungeon and easiest clear. Also 3 MI Legendary potential drop

Valdaran without Port would be perfect Port is just too much of a commitment with the time it take to run. Everything else seem great.

Benn Jarr has officially been renamed the invisible man even his zone have random spawn point it’s just a pain.

XPac Nemesis
GravaThul is easy
Kuba once they remove him from the “indoor” will work well (2 player will be able to start from each side of Act 5 and close on him pretty fast)
Alexander is the easiest one to kill so let’s make it a random mob encounter if you cross his path good if not god damn I’m not searching for that guy.

The whole current premise with Nemesis is that the difficulty lies in Finding them, instead of klliing them…

Not to mention that as “Nemesis” they should be hunting the player, ganking us at random when we port for example.

Nemesis should be very very difficult encounters, but should be easy to find! Like Grava (well maybe an inch less difficult that this mofo:) ).

I made a suggestion a while back to have friendly factions have a scout NPC who will give the location of enemy faction Nemesis for say 10-50k Iron like Valdaran was spotted in Conflagration or Alex was spotted in Burning Cellar

There is also poor effort to reward ratio in farming Nemesis in main game vs doing crucible

That is indeed an excellent idea! Too bad they wont consider it since reasons :frowning: (have seen many other QoL suggestions getting ignored in the past). But yes, overall ratio time/reward is horrible in campaign.

Hmm. Don’t forget that some of the Nemesis spawn during Elite and can be very troubling for characters without perfect gear. A spawn in the middle of a main quest path (as happened to my first AOM character) can be a show stopper without a restart of game (hoping Nemesis isn’t in similar place) or a lot of cheese (oh look a rift gate and some Mirror of Erectes lets just bounce between the two while DOTs take care of business). If Nemesis are pure end game material make them as hard as you like. If they can block the main quest path then…it becomes less fun.

And before I forget…hitting that beast Nemesis in Elite while I was innocently trying to clear the bog was NOT fun.

Also it come this low movement speed cap issue to farm campaign + billion of nemesis farm spawn spot , it end to be veryy tendiouuss and boring for solo self found players :furious:
I keep thinking they need to raise the movement cap for faster paced play in campaign ( no need for crucible btw)

I would also suggest that Nemesis MI’s that are dropped in campaign should always have at least one rare affix. Given the amount of time and preparation you need to take down someone like Kupacabra, getting those tough of mending pants makes wanna stop farming him completely. It’s just gonna make everyone farm new crucible for those items.
