Apostate - Word of Pain build

Hi

Is word of pain inquisitor ability something viable to build around? Looking at past threads I’ve not found anything interesting.
In quite old posts it was said that word of pain loses ground later on, is this still accurate info?

At level 44 I’m currently playing this https://www.grimtools.com/calc/4VxYO1aZ
and having a blast in A4 veteran, no specific items.

Is there a future for this? Can someone recommend a max level build from that or should I look for other Apostate builds?

I love leveling with this skill, but you will need something to supplement the single target damage, from my experience. You will start to notice a difference even in the AoM content with the higher HP mobs.
