You know that is not what I meant. If we are supposed to evade sunder in the new gameplay then null should get the same treatment and the icon should change or glow or something like that slightly beferore the release of the null. I get that you can also evade the projectile itself but considering the overblown effects in GD where you can’t often see anything at all… This small change is nothing bad and the null could take like 2-3 seconds more for compenstation…

that would mean the expectation is you’re supposed to evade Nulli like you’re supposed to evade sunder, which it isn’t?

You are not supposed to evade null? You can’t kill the arcane in time all the time…

yes, and that’s why your buffs turn on automatically…

disagree, leave arcanes as as they are, they don’t need to be turned into or treated as pseudo sunder… - otherwise leave buffs to be manually toggled back on again/“what was the point of the whole change”

The point is to minimize tedious things… The null could even do serious damage…Not like now.

SR has not become easier with sunder. But just different. And some people just don’t like any change at all… And this would be the same thing. Just in the same logic as sunder…

yes, yes it did :joy: - exception being high SR and multi boss pulls, but since the game isn’t designed/balanced with that in mind, i never count that in

More builds can do SR 80 but that is due to better item support… There are not many overperforming builds… It is difficult to find an SR 90 build… There are few of them.

Okay here is what you could do:

Take the preexisting sunder warning.

Mod it onto arcane mobs.

Change the color scheme to match.

Post mod on this website for all to use.

Issue is fixed and everyone else has the capacity to use it if they feel that way without changing the challenge others might like.

it’s easier; because the dangerous attacks are now more thoroughly telegraphed compared to before; so you avoid more attacks/dmg you just statically tanked before
it’s collateral dmg easier from what then happened in terms of attacks and dmg to accommodate sunder
easiest example is ofc Maiden no longer blitzes you in close range and is easily dodgeable

What you say would elevate every build in SR in the last few patches. But I do not observe that…

Disagree. I have builds that had no business in SR 80 and can do it now…within the timer but not at neck break speed and with a lot of slow, methodical decision making when called for.

that’s just nonsese, the forum is littered with them and it’s almost the norm to expect SR90 builds these days more than ever (because loot got added more people want it)

perhaps your observation are just missing a lot?

after 1.2 i posted many vids of builds that either couldn’t do sr 75 but could now, or builds i avoided XY attacks/scary encounters with; that was 100% facetankable or clearable now
build performance overall has indeed gone up; this is objective
what changed lately was Celestials and high SR - and if you were used to multi boss pulls before, but regular SR has indeed only become easier/more widely available (this was also part intent of some of the changes ofc)

Yes, but I don’t think it is sunder. It is just tuning the items in general and other buffs… More builds were elevated but not that many overperform. Just more balance.
