Was hoping someone would recommend a second class as an arcanist.
My options that I’ve narrowed it down to are occultist or demo.
I’d prefer to stay as a ranged caster using either PRM or AAR.
It depends on what you expect from the second class that you find lacking/expect more of while playing the primary one, things like OA, HP, CC etc
You’re going to need to be more specific with your build before I can decide what I think is the best second mastery. With what little you’ve given me, there are just too many options.
Ranged caster? PRM? Why not druid? You get 50% crit damage from stormcaller’s pact, together with that from elemental balance you can really crit. Not many can actually crit these days. But druids can! You also get free hp, possibly resist reduction from wind devils if you don’t want elemental storm, and grasping vines that are even better than flash freeze - they can even stop flesh hulks (with entangling vines).
For the ray, sorcerers have the best itemisation. But it can be done on anything really, like spellbreakers and warlocks and battlemages.
