I was looking through grimtools and came across these magic affixes with a skill bonus. But I really don’t remember seeing them in game, not since 1.2 anyway. Has anyone else seen them drop in game?

I remember seeing some.
But they’re rare. More than usual i mean. I’ve crafted hundreds of medals and only saw 2 o 3 of those at most.

doesn’t drop anymore, removed from drop pool, legacy affix that exists on old items, Grim Dawn Version v1.2.0.0 + v1.2.0.1 + v1.2.0.2 + v1.2.0.3 Hotfixes the patch notes

@Dammitt They need to be removed from Grim Tools as well!
Why? They no longer drop but if you had them before, they still exist. Maybe just add add legacy tag.

Having them within the Grim Tools, it could create a confusion, in my opinion.
I do understand that anyone is having items with those affixes and there won’t be done any harm to those items, but it is like with “obsolete/old versions of the act / law”. You can have them privately, but all the official sources should have the newest applicable version disposable.
So Grim Tools should not display a character accurately because the item he has in game can no longer drop? It’s not like partial components which no longer exist.
other legacy affixes were removed from GT (tho they also had a bit less significance)
Besides, you’re still running into the same “doesn’t display correctly” on old chars with the magick class affixes on other slots (rings/amulets/caster weaps), which GT correctly doesn’t have in pools anymore
It could be displayed, but not be present within the search function!

Technically these affixes still exist, even in loot pools, I just checked it.
The problem here is that in GT the pool of affixes is set per item type, not per item drop (as it’s set in the game), so even if this affix does exist in the game, it can roll only on Gutworm’s medal, but in GT it shows as if it can roll on all medals.
As for “legacy items”, GT doesn’t really support them unfortunately - if this affixes will be removed from all loot pools, then it won’t be shown in GT at all.

@Zantai sry for ping, but surely this is unintended as per the general 1.2 change to magick class prefixes?

I see that this affix table is referenced in the loot table for the Epic Gutworm medal. However…that table only rolls noPrefixNoSuffix. Ie. even though it’s referenced, it cannot be rolled on that item.
@Dammitt Basically this is a data trap for the way GrimTools parses the game data.
I’ve removed that reference, but can’t say what other such traps exist for the database.
