pleeeasse tell me there is a way to slap 2 ascended affixes on magic tiers so we can do a 2h AAR+Devas build - or it’s time for Titan Grip/dw 2hands enabling item finally !
Completely unrelated question, but does anybody know which item it is that creates the multi-beam AAR that we’ve seen Zantai post on a screenshot some time ago? I’ve already gone through all the new and updated gear (14 hours of staring into GT says hi!) and I don’t see any “+ projectiles” or such for it, so it must be hidden.
-TDM was added when Z decided to switch that one to “dot aar”, it didn’t get multi beam then, and doesn’t have it on latest 1.3 ptr/non fangs version yet
Edit: damn, it’s actually only exists in a dream. It only applies to magic one-handed ranged weapon, which, after the change to the existing crafted one-handed ranged weapons, is a classification that straight up doesnt exist. The base unmodified weapons are common rarity, while the crafted ones are rare. If it works on magic rarity, that means it requires common weapons with only magic affixes… which is just… not it.
12 flat damage (off-hand version) seems relatively low for Callidor’s Tempest. Drain Essence and Wind of Asterkarn have faster speed and get 20 flat damage. Elemental Exchange gets 16 base damage, which can salce with % weapon damage.
Not quite sure whether it is a GT problem. Or this numerical value would scale with item levels as of Insight.
I don’t believe that’s what that means. Particularly strong ascended affixes like this one only exist on non-unique, non-MI items (note: this is probably why special crafted items like Stormsurge Pistol were bumped up to Rare, because for the purposes of ascended affixes they function like MIs).
To get this ascended affix, you have to ascend a Common item, e.g. Preserver Hand Cannon, rather than say Stormsurge Pistol (crafted Rare) or Rutnick’s Blaster (MI), otherwise ascended affixes would become something you only ever apply to MIs.
Man, that kind of sucks. In that it’s functionally going to force the use of a generic rare/double-rare (assuming best case scenario where it happens to work for rares). The odds of rolling the correct ascension bonus even with the reroll mechanic is going make it a PITA to get one useful version of this compared to typical MIs.
