I want to make a ranged fire based build that uses firestrike as main attack. I will of course need high phys to equip good gear but firestrike does both fire and physical so what to go for ?

All Phys and have 10+ unspent points just in case.
But maxing both masteries will provide a lot of cunning for guns. Also there is a constellation for -10% gun requirements.
Why all phys though. Won’t my damage be lacking a lot ?
I just find these type of builds hard to understand…
You need phys for high gear
you need cunnign for crit and to use ranged weapons plus for phys damage
But you also need spirit for the fire part of the damage
Most of your damage will come from the stats on your gear rather then your character’s native stats. Spend points as needed to equip the armour, accessories and guns you want. Once you have what you need then the reminder points can go to physique for extra health.
Of course you can spend those points on cunning and spirit instead but as you go through the higher difficulties, survivability starts becoming more important then damage.
