Aura disabled

I have one big question and it’s something that’s bugging me for a while. Is there an enemy in the game that can disable single aura skills? I’m not talking about Arcane monsters. Those disable all buffs and that’s not what was happening. My Heart of the Winter King aura was somehow disabled while i was playing the game today and it happened twice.

At first, i thought i was going crazy and somehow switched to my alternate skill bar (where the buffs are) and pressed the skill button. However, i’m 100% sure that i didn’t do that. If something like that had happened, i would have disabled more than one buff (it happened once) because the Winter King aura is in the middle of the skill bar. I only noticed it after i had already beaten Kymon and Korvaak. Korvaak in particular was bugging me because the fight took longer than i expected. Then i noticed that the aura was off and that all the cold and elemental RR i had wasn’t doing anything because the pets were causing only physical and bleed damage.

Is there an enemy or enemy skill that can do something like that and that i’m unaware of?

I don’t think so. I would have noticed. That’s the only item i haven’t applied an illusion to and i’m always looking at my character. The second slot has the Guillotine (i was using it early on during the leveling process) and the two weapons are too different.

If aura drains energy (and WK does that for 8 energy/sec), it can get disabled if you reach zero energy.

do you happen to have your buffs on on your main bar/alongside your offense/cd skill? - coz then it’s possible you just accidentally turned it off :sweat_smile:

Yeah that must be it, I forgot winter king aura uses 8energy/s which is quite much. And OP mentioned in his thread that he sometimes get low on energy.

Yes, it’s this! I remember having my energy leeched at some point while fighting enemies in the Tomb of the Eldritch Sun. I’m pretty sure it was before i noticed the skill being disabled for the first time. This is a very important piece of information. It seems pretty rare as it requires a character with low amounts of energy, lots of high energy cost skills (or many skills that are used constantly which is my case) and an aura that drains energy per second.
