Please help me to understand this calculation. I am playing a physical based soldier (0 points in decorated soldier).
Why is the DPS of the auto attack higher with Colossal Grasp (11800) than with Grasp of Unchained Might (11500)? Unchained Might has more or same %phys and trauma damage plus it has Attack Speed and Flat Phys Damage.
The weird thing is… if I unequip my Shield (Markovian) I get the expected result: A lot more DPS with Unchained Might.
have you accounted for the +2 to Oleron?
Colossal Grasp has a passive bonus (Collossal Might: +90% phys damage, +180% IT damage and +8% attack speed) which only applies as long as you’re wielding a shield. So once you unequip the shield, you will lose that bonus and Unchained Might gives better DPS than Colossal Grasp.

@Volek: That’s it, thank you! I was under the impression that this would only count for shield attacks!
There comes another question to mind: Is that 15% chance for Flat Bonus Damage included in the tooltip with an average?
