Sorry to anyone who has been awaiting email confirmation for their forum registration for the last couple days. I got a few PMs about this and realized it is linked to the same issue that is preventing the key-emailer from functioning correctly.
I was finally able to track down the guy who maintains our servers and disrupt his vacation in Hawaii so we can get this fixed. Should be back to normal by tonight or tomorrow.
In the meantime, I went through and manually changed everyone who was waiting on email confirmation over to registered user status, so you should be all set.
