Really exciting stuff here. Can’t wait to try it out!
Wow! The game just gets better every update! I’ve noticed a significant change in the graphics! It’s looking more livelier now!
I’m not sure how to explain it, the grimness is so boring and bland pre-patch, but today it looks more alive!
I’m pretty much guessing that in future patches even the heroes will look sooo much better! Right now they all look the same. Hehe… XDD
The Twin Falls rift and Broken Hills rift seem too close together to me. It doesn’t take long at all to walk between them, even if you have to kill every enemy along the path.
A few riftgates are like that.
Old Arkovia to Twin Falls is another example though you need dynamite to make that route short.
With Act 1 having a bridge repair, Burrwitch Outskirts and Flooded Passage riftgates can be close as well.
Haven’t had time to really get into the gameplay changes yet, but I must say the graphics, interface, icons, are vastly improved. That was never a sticking point for me in the first place, but still… wow.
Very nice work, everyone at Crate.
What happened about that? Didn’t you update or did i read over changes.
lol I was just thinking that. maybe the team had a big party celebration for releasing act 2 and hasn’t recovered yet
[/li]Tainted hounds still get up as if their spine is broken
Felt a huge improvment in graphics and performance! Awesome, keep the good work, and thanks =D
Act 2 seems a bit shorter to me than Act 1. But what there is is so great And I didn’t play through the high level area (at least I think it is one ;)), still too weak :o
I really like the new enemies, especially some of the old relatives from Titan Quest. The level design is as brillant and beautiful as ever, I’m so glad you didn’t go with random levels.
Old Arkovia is my favourite environment in the game up to now. The atmosphere with the creepy ambient sounds, the fantastic lighting and the bits and pieces of story really resonated with me. I felt some Dark Souls vibes there, which shows the grim in the title isn’t just there for show.
Had some nice item drops, too. It really is a shame you can’t produce content more quickly, what we get is so good!
Thinking about stepping up my humble support package soon. Keep on keeping on
The only thing I still dislike: Performance is just not great for me (Core i5 @4Ghz, Radeon HD 7950). Game feels very cpu limited and 40fps aren’t nearly as fun as 60fps.
I’ve found that turning off the minimap and the quest overlay improves the framerate quite a bit; if I need a map I just toggle the big one on and off again…
dumb question, but i can’t remember nor can i find the option to change the mini map size and/or turn it off. What hot key is it, where is the option to turn it off?
there is a UI element in the HUD close to where the map used to be when it was at bottom right corner. it is a toggle, just press it a few times to cycle through the 3 options
thanks jiaco! just found compass map toggle, i knew it was something simple like that i was missing.
