Two dozen horsemen did this. They’re unkillable and grossly overpowered.

Pikemen usually take them out or build your own horsemen. If all you have is archers and light infantry they will get ran over
Yes, the raider heavy cavalry is insane. Normal horsemen are trivial, but those guys are monsters. Long story short, they have what adds up to a 99% immunity against ranged attacks, will single handily destroy 3 fully upgraded T3 towers with all tech and policies before their guards take them down, and will bring pikemen (their supposed counter) down to about half health before they die. And that’s just one them. They’re boss levels enemy, and you get entire waves of mostly those guys.
Tactics when fighting raiders fall into two categories: everyone else, and raider heavy cavalry. Not only are they too strong, they’re such a step up from all other raiders that they feel grotesquely unfair.
