This set of guns is very nice to play, but imo it’s kinda underpowered.
They are level 94 set items, they should be a lil more…more.
My suggestion is the following :
-Increase Armor Piercing on both guns from 18% to 35%.
-Add +14/20% attack speed stat to Salvo also.
-Make Crossfire give the same base fire dmg as Salvo. (22-23/30-35 not just 13-26/20-39)
-Add +8-10% crit dmg stat for both of the guns (or make them both craftable ?)
-Add a +25% fire RR to the Duelist full set bonus Granted Skill.
Srry, maybe someone can move it so it doesnt get crowded.
EDITED : All togheter…might be, maybe without the crit, and make them craftable, a max 6% on both wouldn’t be OP imo. for now they don’t do reasonable dmg for lvl 94 items…
Sad all the mods for Grenado come from ranged weapons, which forbid us from using the all mighty juicy relic Korvaak. Canister bomb should be buffed, looong cd noone uses it except for devotion procs.
If they made those craftable… I’d make a commando with those and try to get +14% armor (+7 and +7, for a total of +14) Would be fun to have a ranged commando that also has good defense.
Also, I’d rather see it having either:
Fire damage instead of physical.
Increased physical -> fire from 12/18 to 24/36 (simply doubled to increase the damage).
Increase physical -> fire from 12/18 to 36/54 and remove pierce amplification.
Increase proc chances by 5% and convert the damage dealt by all procs to fire (100% conversion).
Remove +1 to every skill both of them give and add +2 to all skills in Demolitionist after completing the set (although, should rather be +1 to demo and +1 to inquis to compensate the inquis skills loss).
Make procs AoE.
Although, I don’t think the skill increase in the whole mastery would be a great idea. Everything can work. I always wanted to make a build with those, but… those guns aren’t that great, nor good.
They are nice, they want to be nice, the ideea of them is very nice as a set of 2 guns. But it’s not there yet…overall it just needs an increase in the dmg they do, no matter what gets increased, the main stats, dmg/crit/as, the set bonus or granted skill, and ofc some conversion.
It’s very sad that there are so many items that are there just to make others better. All lvl 94 items should be usable for end-game farming. Even lvl 84 ones. Set or Normal types.
Slightly increaseing some of the stats on a lot of lvl 84/94 items would bring up a lot of new builds. Maybe with next expansion we get some changes to already existing items, so they dont get forgotten, and maybe, hopefully…we get more granted skills for lvl 84/94 items that dont have…but should…
