my wife and i chose to be hostile to barrowholm on normal difficulty. then when we showed up in town on elite difficulty (she was hosting the game), they offered to forget the past and reset faction.
my character spoke with Scorv and my faction was reset to tolerated, but my wife’s character’s faction wasn’t reset at that time. and now Scorv won’t talk to her.
how can we fix this ? we would both like to work on this faction.
She might have to host her own game and do it.
If you’re playing co-op, she will need to speak to them in her own game to reset them.
we’ve tried that. also it was her hosted game to begin with. its like i somehow stole her one-time chance to reset faction.
This is a fucking bug. I had the same problem where me and a buddy wanted to change from friendly to hostile. He talked to the guy and got hostile and i couldn’t change it anymore. Not even hosting my own game worked.
i guess we’ll have another shot to get it right when we eventually get to barrowholm on ultimate. this is frustrating…
I just had this issue as well. Here’s hoping there’s a workaround and/or a fix in the works.
