It’s an optional boss typically met on the road between Steelcap and Malmouth Harbor, slightly before the shipwreck, or sometimes to the north of Malmouth Harbor entrance.
I knew even before that he’s not to be taken lightly because he spams a lot of ground aether auroras and has a few other things. Today I noticed a peculiar anomaly that made me check what abilities he have in GT, and turns out he has an absurdly strong debuff:
8 Second Duration
12 Meter Radius
1 Meter Radius
280 Aether Damage
-30% Health
Increases Health Regeneration by -500%
-30% Aether Resistance
-40% Elemental Resistance
Pretty self-explanatory. He attempts to use this shit every 16 seconds, so 50% uptime. His damage is mostly aetherlightning or aetherfire, similar to much of other Malmouth fauna.
Ah right, the anomaly I mentioned before? The -30% health from this debuff and -35% health from Regurgitator’s aura stack.
Only AoM boss who managed to spike my health (besides Kuba, Ravager, Alex and Theo) on my first attempt when the expac was out
I thought they’d have fixed it:undecided:
I might be mistaken but there’s a small chance he and alex will spawn very close by. It was either that or I met Haraxis when luring Alex into a building
I might even consider Cleansing Waters on some of my builds, Ulo isn’t a bad constellation either. It’d just be a pain if it’s on the opposite end of what you’re going for devotion-wise.
I agree. Still remembered got killed by that hero and I was like “no way”. It’s ashame a hero mob is way stronger than Krieg… they need to really buff that loser!
I thought they were wisps, but yeah, those things are nasty, but he does have a tell before he casts them. He speaks out and says something, that’s my queue to backup and prepare to kill the wisps.
Ah yes… the infamous Fleshweaver boss that can spawn in three different areas… Now I know why I once suddenly died to this boss, without even realizing what the heck happened… I thought the spike damage was from the Wisps attacking me all at ounce along his attacks, or the ground aetherfire thing stacking…
