was doing well, sorry i had seen a few of the posts but none of them had builds posted with them.
I never got to try shadow strike though, bone harvest was working well with amarasta+night’s chill etc etc… I was waiting for more +shadow strike gear before I gave it a whirl but less points in bone harvest yielded better results than with shadow strike. I believe i tested it out with this:
Bone harvest seemed the better choice with my given gear
edit: the difference in damage was menial but because of bone harvest’s larger aoe it seemed the better choice, but w/o proper cd gear it’s hard to say
You are probably undergreared at the moment, might need to take your time doing a few SOT runs, beside Alkamos the loot there are actually quite good now. The guy is tough even for my nearly fully geared toon.
Yea I figured, vulture + ulo seems a necessity, I just hate to alter a build for one boss – specifically a nemesis – that isn’t partial god (like Mog etc etc)
Would like to remake the build with Shadow strike and pure cold but I’d like to try cabalist and perhaps Reaper with poison/vit instead

I completely forgot to mention in the other thread how ridiculously strong that breath attack is. A majority of his attacks don’t deal high damage but as soon he uses that breath attack, two thirds of my health can disappear in a second.
Indeed, I noticed this too. During my tag game, when his breath scratched me several times, my health DID dip to almost half of it’s point sometimes. And I had ridiculous heal going on, combined with very good block constantly.
Must’ve been enormous spike damage, if it can get to you through that much defence.
I feel like converting that to bleed damage with % attack damage converted to health could reach the same desired affect but I dunno if monster’s attacks function the same as player attacks.
