I did some testing with my phys/bleed pet conjurer and I must say that Beastcaller doesn’t feel on par with the other legendary pet sets.
Issues:
0% generic pet damage. Beastcaller used to have multiple viable damage types that you could build around, but now bleed and phys seem like the only viable choices. For some reason the chest gives pets %internal trauma damage.
Lack of skill points Skill Points. A phys focused pet set with no bonuses to Mogdrogen’s pact seems strange to me.
Defenses. What used to be the tankiest pet build feels below average. The phys res change obviously hit hard and wasn’t really compensated.
Suggestions: I like the idea of Beastcaller being the tankiest pet set, simply because of it’s theme. Maybe adding more support for Mogdrogen’s pact line would help. Skill modifier for Primal spirit would fit the “beastcaller” theme. Currently the set blocks 2 of the 4 slots needed for permanent primal spirit uptime and maxing out primal spirit doesn’t seem worth it considering the skill point cost.
