The games in full release, changes to items and skills are constant as part of balancing the game goes. Yes sets are in the game, best place is in the crucible dlc, this isn’t an MMO where you can farm x boss for legendaries, you’ll face RNG.
Some bosses drop specific legendaries, I was just wondering if any of the new items worked like that, or if any new bosses was added that was good to farm.
And it’s a shame if they’re still changing things. Quite a few of my characters have been changed too much to enjoy so I was going to wait untill they are done. I guess I will have to wait longer.
It’s balance updates, they’ll happen forever. They patch and adjust devotions and things, it wont ever stop. There aren’t sweeping changes, or build breaking changes.
As for specific boss legendaries, those are few. That’s not Crates MO.
Well quite a few of my builds have been broken and although I love the game I don’t like making characters to farm a long time just to have the build ruined, or not what I intended.
I don’t mind just beaing weaker. I just dislike skill and item reworks. Like the judicators ring set ability now activating on kill instead of crit. Not gamebreaking but really annoying. Quite a few items and skills I used in the past was changed and made the character different to how I wanted to play them. I don’t find that fun. And a few did become unplayable. I had about 30 characters alltogether so lots was just changed (buffed or nerfed) but some was changed too much.
You’ll be waiting years to play if you want to wait until balance changes to come to an end. The only point that balance adjustments will end is when support for the game ends.
For every nerf there is like 10+ buffs, so give exploring those buffs a try.
They was quite powerful sure but a nerf should be a nerf not a change to it’s design. Plus they seemed more powerful than they was because most other rings sucked.
But yeah I will give it a longer break for now. I doubt the changes will go on forever, no matter how long it takes it has to be completed sometime lol.
Nerfs include design changes. Nerfs aren’t exclusive to stats only.
And like Nine said, it will probably take years before buffs and nerfs stop. It ends most of the time when the game is no longer being supported.
I honestly would try the new buffs. A lot of items got cool stuff in the recent updates. But if you want to wait for the balance changes to stop, then it’s up to you.
Some people just don’t like to listen. I played in EA and had 3-5 characters that I deleted because EA-Vetcapped lvl 40s didn’t need tons of physique, and poorly masteried full spirit casters would be absolute murder to level. Was it sad? Sure, but now I have made new ones that got to play through the new experiences, and get access to new item drops. Net gain for me. Plus my EA summoner is still going strong.
