then, why would he care soldiers or other stuff, when all he want is killing…
he probably classify soldiers like ’ bunch of cowards that hides behind shields’
since he was just ‘anamoly’ among ‘lithe’ nblades, he exceeded his powers in ‘raw’ ‘direct’ and ‘lethal’ attacks etc…
imo he is just pure nblade, and had no bond to soldier or inquistors… i think he doesnt even give a single fuck about other nblades aswell… howcome a person with this mentality can be part of other mastery anyway
he is just pure bloodthirsty maniac nblade to me;)
Armor once worn by the infamous master Nightblade, Belgothian, who’s reckless carnage and thirst for blood made even his employers uneasy.
The set description.
Overly muscled and slow by Nightblade standards
Infiltrators aren’t known to be overly muscled and SLOW. They have to be nimble and quick.
You have to be trolling at this point. Infiltrator does mean SNEAKY ASSASSIN, that’s what someone that infiltrates does. That’s one of the reason why the Assassin set was made to support Inquisitor, because it’s for someone that infiltrates. Belgothian is known for reckless killing and being slow, the complete opposite of an Infiltrator.
In conclusion, it makes no sense lore wise to have Inquisitor skills in the set, period. It makes actual sense to add Soldier skills, because they’re know for their carnage and being in the frontline, which is what Belgothian does. Inquisitors are also not known for their reckless killing and carnage because they don’t do that. Soldiers on the other hand do.
1-2 still doesnt mean that he is soldier or blademaster to me… or lets say i CANT talk things that i am not %100 certain like you… not my style.
last part, that set is already a pure JOKE by its design… and i already said that it doesnt suit infiltrator by even slightest… and that set has to be part of trickster!!
set has mace, non of the assasin in entire universe or other parallel universes see any assassin wielding a fucking mace… its always sword OR dagger… to me at least mace+ assassin type char always seem funny.
bleed part of set? is also total joke… i dont see even 1 bleed dmg on inquistor or support signs of it. also nblades is very very trash class for bleed… blade spirit+blade trap = absolute garbage, only 1 wp that deals bleed dmg whirling death, which leaves you with 1 reliable skill RoS… anatomy of murder and pierce+bleed pb is already meh
not going to mention how hard to utilize both type of dmgs devotion + itemization aswell… since both pierce and bleed scales from +flat dmg sources and you cant have both unless something happens in FG xpac.
so dont even come with that set example to me, which is already %100 super bad design and shouldnt be part of inquistor…
sneaky assasin drops seal on the ground btw, and wield mace with %160 aspeed sureee…
oh btw if you gonna understand if i talk like you;
NONE of the things you said make sense to me or some1else, belgothian is pure nblade %200000 percent!!!.. we ok with this… just a nblade and i am %100 SURE he doesnt give a slight single fuck about soldiers or inquistors… this is what i think but hey i am %1000 SURE X MAKE ZERO SENSE… if you understand this way
It makes sense for Belgothian to be a Blademaster/part Soldier and not a pure Nightblade from a lore perspective because he exhibits traits of one, no I am not talking about Shields - Soldier’s are not just characterised by their use of Shields. He is partially a Soldier because of his sheer toughness and power (notably unusual for Nightblades), tendency to tackle enemies head-on and outlive them and his method of causing carnage in a fight. These are all qualities that are reflected in various Soldier skills such as Military Conditioning, Fighting Spirit and Oleron’s Rage.
Consider these tidbits we know of him:
Belgothian’s Shears
The brawny Belgothian was an anomaly among the Nightblade masters, but he exceeded them all in raw power. Leveraging his strength in direct but lethal attacks like the shears, Belgothian could often finish an enemy in a single move.
Breath of Belgothian
Overly muscled and slow by Nightblade standards, part of Belgothian’s success was attributed to his ability to recover health and outlast opponents through a profound mastery of the pneuma breathing technique.
As Zantai would probably say, we are over thinking this. In some cases, a class, like Soldier, represents something, a particularity, and is not necessarily a faction to which the respective build/ class combo takes part. It doesn’t mean that Belgo was once some soldier or had anything to do with military discipline, no
He is first and foremost a NB, that is established. But unlike all NB he had something else:
Fortititude
Armor
Straightforwardness in battle
Overall simplicuty
All of the above are plastered and rounded up onto the NB mastery by adding certain aspects of Soldier. It is simply because GD is a dual class game, it does not automatically mean that a build has to have an affinity to both factions. Soldier is the just the paint job for Belgothian, the rough finishing in it’s identity.
Also soldier fits better than Shaman for fortitide and simplicity simply because Shaman represents something a bit more ancient and primal, while Soldier seems more…urban within GD world, that’s all. Fitting, when looking at his gear. Some high tech metallurgy there
