restarted my file for the expansion, and i haven’t had to farm for blueprints for like a year and a half so i don’t know what the current best way to farm them is
treasure troves? nemeses? does vol’drak still have an increased blueprint drop chance?
Same here, I restarted fresh for the XP but I really regret deleting my blueprint file now because I can’t get Shard of Beronath blueprint for the life of me.
The Rare Goods vendor in Malmouth resistance sells lv. 25-50 Relic recipes, so that’s a good place to fill out the missing low level ones.
I ran 300+ Treasure Troves as well but honestly they aren’t great if you’re running for Mythical Relics. Got a whole bunch of blueprints for crafts you rarely use though.
Nemeses apparently have a 100% chance to drop a BP but if you roll one you already have twice it won’t drop I read.
Hunting them and just killing a lot / Crucible are probably your best chances, so same as before.
For relics you should do the outcast quests, they give you a legendary and a relic blueprint now. Also the Hargate lab one but I guess everyone is aware of that.
farming troves seems okish for level 60 mythicals, maybe it has to do with the fact that despite being ‘legendary’ they’re blue-coloured instead of purple (at least the class-specific ones are), so maybe they drop with the same frequency as rare blueprints?
i’ve done 22 troves so far and received 2 level 60 mythical relic bps, but i’m level 63 on elite difficulty. character would get an enormous power boost with eye of the storm so i’m gonna keep going for it
Fabius and Iron Maiden/Zantarin have gimped treasure troves compared to other nemeses. The only reason you’d farm them is shoulders.
I found farming Kilrian is a great way to also farm Moosilauke, since there a lot of potential spawn points for the latter. And even if Moo doesn’t spawn on the way, you still have a chance at Kilrian Soul and his infernal mace of conflagration.
I don’t know if Grava’Thul’s chest is gimped. If it’s not, then it’s even better farm, provided you can tackle him consistently.
