Better Respec, Devotion UI

So im just saying, game is fun, been playing for couple hundred hours already. But can we have a better respec methods? Like skills Respec tonic or cheaper respect? Sure new update is coming, other than inventory i kinda forgot what else there is. But what im saying is the fact each combo have so many way to spec skill into, and with the game having dozens of combinations of classes…thats just…huge, the amount iron grind is non stop if i want to respec. I dont mind grindy, but tbh i just want the options to be more achieveable

About Devotion UI, can we get a whole total bonus of each celestial bonus when we hover above them? THink of something like this: You hovering above the basic starting node, it show a stats board with greyed out bonus, and with each point spent, the bonus is highlighted, if its also come with a skill, press control to see that skill detailed description

In the world of (reductive) one-dimensional scales of how re-specable characters are in ARPGs, Grim Dawn is intentionally closer to one end (permanence) than the other (choices don’t matter, redo things as much as you want). Making a new character is what is encouraged in this philosophy, rather than infinite respecs and trying out every possibility with the same character.

while i do understand that method, i simply asking for a better respec, such as skill tonic along other tonic we already have, not asking its become free, but rather easier than now when we already have 2 other tonics

Over the years Grim Dawn has only moved towards the more malleable side of the spectrum, adding respecing for the Mastery Bars, and adding the Devotion and Attribute reset potions, so it could be possible. ¯\(ツ)

If the problem is the iron bits cost, after a few respect the cost ramp up quite significantly.

I personally used gdstash to reset the cost to zero on very old characters where I tried a lot of set up over time, the cost ended up being way too much

I think the strengh of Grim Dawn is build diversity and I won’t lvl a new character just to try another skill allocation or another devotion.

I’m glad GDStash is there for that. I like that Crate held to the design philosophy of a character having a purpose or inspiring an idea that you develop, not just an action figure you dress up. We don’t have seasons or a market, I don’t need to be meta in a week. There’s other games (or GDStash) for that too so it’s ok.
