if i bind devotions like Bat and Eye of the Guardian to one of the summons that scale with player bonuses (like the shaman totems and guardian of empyreon) does the healing component get redirect to the player or does it go to waste?
Since both devotion skill has weapon damage, binding them to anything will heal you. But GG is a bit trickier than bat. Since there are eyes swirl around the caster and the number of eye increase and deal damage to anything they collide. When you bind them to static casters, the eyes will swirl around it thus they won’t move with you, like totems, if you move away from totem, consequently monsters will follow you, but eyes and totem will remain behind. Not sure what happens when you recast it though, didn’t test that much.

If you recast the (player-scaled) pet it gravitates around, the eyes get unsummoned. Same deal with anything that is a “buff” (like Reckless Tempest) or tied to the entity like the Eyes.
