Is there a reason why it’s so bad? Best augments have 10%/10%, but ok, they are double elemental and elemental is easy to find on gear. Now, there’s a 10/7% type, which has some of the best augments like Kingsguard Powder. 7/7% is somewhat weaker but that’s ok since this type consists of 2nd row resistance combos that only get decreased once when you go from elite to ultimate. And Bladeward Powder is only 10% pierce, while pierce is reduced twice, by 50% total.
The reason I paid attention to that is because I couldn’t cap pierce resistance on my Sorc despite using TWO Silk Swatches and pretty much every augment of mine is either Kingsguard (10% poison 7% pierce) or Bladeward (10% pierce). Ideally, I should have had enough resistance so I could replace at least one Silk Swatch with Scaled Hide and still cap pierce. I can make it happen if I go Eel -> Solemn Watcher though, but still I think Bladeward ought to be 15% pierce. Venomguard has 15% poison and in my opinion pierce and poison are in the same position, more or less (get reduced twice & harder to find than elemental).
I actually ended up short of Bleed res on my battlemage, when swapped helmet for Warborn Visor. Ended up switching my sweet looking Hellforged Legplates for Empowered Legplates of Valor. Got bleed back to 84% again, but they look too shiny for my taste, almost completely out of style with my other gear :undecided:. Thankfully armor covers them, mostly.
I’m honestly hoping for epic armor augments for Bleeding resistance in the expansion. Feels quite jarring seeing every main resist (minus stun resist) having at least one epic armor augment (some have 3), while Bleeding has none.
