Bleed confusion

I keep hearing “Can’t bleed Undead”…Yet when I look, it seems that you CAN, they’re just really resistant. Yet when people speak of it, it’s as if its an immunity. Also, I don’t really see Bleed-Centric builds around, just the occasional build with Bleed IN it.

For context, with the buffs to Bloody Pox’s skill line, I wanted to see if I could make a Conjurer that focused Bleed Damage, instead of Vitality. Devouring Swarm, Curse of Frailty, and some Bloody Pox/Fevered Rage shenaniganizing. If Undead are immune to bleed, or so resistant that I’d not really be able to clear Steps with a Bleed focused build…I’d like to know NOW, not later. Slow, or hard, is fine. Unable to kill the bosses(in under an hour), not fine.

Undead mobs have 100% bleeding resistance.

Through skills and devotion you can easily access Curse of Frailty (-50), Devouring swarm (-40), Rend (-28) and Acid Spray (-25). Then gear will give you other resistance reduction sources, and keeping a good old Plaguewearer + Mark of Dreeg as your secondary weapon could had another -30. For the rest, search -*% bleeding resistance on gracefuldusk.com

Thank you. I hadn’t caught Manticore/Mark of Dreeg reducing all resistances…For some reason I assumed it was only poison/acid. Nor did I know I could search like that on Graceful Dusk. Can’t seem to find “Plaguewearer” anywhere though.

As for the results on Dusk, it seems I’ll be needing Vileblood Mantle and an Empowered Scarlet Marksman, but not much else that isn’t Nightblade centric. Well, technically Vileblood is Nightblade/Shaman, but the skill it grants seems too good to pass up.

It seems that with GG gear, I could presumably get 12 extra levels on Bloody Pox. Should be nice. Hopefully this’ll work out well.
