Blue versus Yellow

Imagine a society where there are a number of people that like blue and another number of people that like yellow. They live in peace, but largely hide out within the shadows of light impulses and within those pulses the yellows and blues clump together into forums of discussion about their preference of color.

One day, a yellow posted on the blue forums that “yellow is best”. The thread went on for days, as blues kept replying and together they kept throwing their best arguments forth like a bunch of kamikaze gorillas.

To get revenge, a blue posted his ‘blue is better than yellow’ thread on the yellow forums. But not a single yellow posted. A few other blues came along and threw napalm on the scorched earth, but never did a yellow post in the thread. The thread died out and disappeared. Life went on.

Be a yellow.

The blues and yellows got together and fought, then realized they were all on the same side, so they fell in love and had lots of dirty forum sex, and had green babies who were happy and peaceful.

Black is a color that is recognised as being the absence of light.

White is a color that is recognised as being an abundance of light.

The two have and will forever be very different from one another.

Purple, however, appreciates what both Black and White have to say, appoints a considered approach to each side’s values and is able to leave both Black and White in peace and emerge wiser for the experience.

Be a positive influence. Do not be afraid to be different or harbour a point of view that does not necessarily conform with what the consensus suggests. However, present your beliefs and influence a situation in a constructive and useful manner.

If black or any color is bred with white, eventually only white remains.
I watch some of my beautiful bright red flowers turn more and more pink over years and then sort of a dirty white. Sad.

Not sure how exactly to get my message across, but in an attempt to be proactive, can I please have the attention of the forum regulars and can you please read the quote below (from the now closed DRM-free thread):

I do not want to have to delete posts from regulars but if they cannot respect what the moderators/developers ask, what choice do I have? It took me a good while to page through this DRM-free thread and find these posts, but the people I am addressing here were on this thread like flies on shit, so I know you saw at least one of them:
