Blueprints When You Have Most?

How do you get these? Whats the best source?

Some say skeleton key dungeons, except I’ve yet to have 1 drop in 20+ chest openings. I run ancient grove as I always need more udgenbloom, except I’m not seeing blueprints.

Nemesis are just a waste of time I’ve found. Can run Fabius 20 times and see no blueprint.

I can’t efficiently run gladiator without fear of death but can comfortable speed run challenger 100-150 to 130-150 multiple times.

Which is the best option here?

Some key blueprints I’m missing are eternity relic, mythical lights defender, octavius, warborn, faceguard of justice, runebinder hat, Ultos, x2 conduit ammy. Some of these sets I have multiples of each slot, just waiting on the blueprint.

Just how many farming runs will it take to get all these? I really don’t like how difficult it is too get these after you have most. I feel skeleton key dungeons should have a higher chance for a drop, still so unrewarding to run.

How many runs? Up to infinitely many runs for 100% certainty…

I’ve done hundreds, I have 7 L100’s as well. This account has played like 600+ hours. Its kinda nuts…

Do I have to wait for an eternity to find eternity relic?

I have 1.4k hours and are missing a handful of blueprints.

It is just the nature of random events, you can never be 100% sure to get it.

You could trade to buy missing gear in the mean time but the less blueprints you need the lower the drop rate.

I feel ya!

I have almost 2000 hours in gd and I am still missing a bunch. I really think for single player all the blueprints that you have should be removed from the item pool. how it works at the moment is blueprints will be dropping all the time but you do not see the ones you already have. therefore the more blueprints you have the less likely you will find new ones. to be more correct the frequency will diminish exponentially.

if obtained blueprints were removed from the item pool then your chance would be far greater to obtain them all. I really think this should be the case as how much are we expected to play to get them all?

an alternative would be to add a new vendor who sells all the blueprints and has a limited selection per play session. So there would be some rng but you would be able to get them all eventually.

Most of my characters are not complete even after 2k hours because I able missing the blueprint (especially when FG comes out) and can’t craft the helm or rest of a set.

I think every one-shot chest could give blueprint…

Nemesis farming. But no fabius, because his drop rates are pretty bad. I like to farm undead and beast nemesis, they are pretty easy to find usually and have much better drops.

In campaign i farm SoT,big chance fo Moosi spawn, also Alkmaos chest sometimes drop blueprint as well.I also miss a lot of important recipes, for relics 1 or 2 at max,but a lot of helmets.Especially i need Belghotian, cause i have every other item including two slicers to make Blademaster.

I was thinking about taking my formulas file and putting it somewhere else and thus starting a new one. Before I do that, I will take notes on what of my “key” bp’s I am missing. Thus I know what to look for in my new formulas file and can craft those item with that one (if I manage to drop them).

Not a nice solution though.

But, soon we will have Forgotten Gods where you can start to try rerolling set items to new ones. So should be much easier to finish sets

not sure what that is supposed to accomplish… you will get BP drops again as you now miss more, but you reduce your chances of getting your missing ones (due to the reroll mechanic of rolling a different one if you already have the one rolled)

Another alternative could be to have a vendor who sells you a random blueprint, like with crafting legendary equipment at special blacksmiths, but the price increases as you get more blueprints.

I’ve been playing for 1 year and 2 months now, still missing Runebinder Hat and Mark of Consumption Blueprints and I think tons.

Well this is a problem that needs a solution… Considering most builds tend to use a full set in the end.

My account is 100% legit and i would rather quit the game than taint it with cheats.

My solution would be to increase again skeleton key dungeon chest blueprint roll chance yet again. At least double it.

Cruicible will always be better for items. Gives Dungeon runs a real use.

Grim Dawn has pretty generous drops rates for an arpg. Tried farming all the items solo on Diablo 2? Trading, more farming or move on to other games.

You have gotten your moneys worth from the game, quitting at this stage is simply up to you. Remember forgotten gods will add the transmutation mechanic which I would expect to be a way around the need for a blueprint (unless blueprint legendary are excluded), and all the extra content will make farming more fun with new builds and gear.

I have. I got Tyraels Might a few months ago. Only missing a Cham rune, then I have all items stored in my external stash mod (GoMule). Started diablo 2 single player again like 2.5 years ago

But yeah, drop rates are fine in Grim Dawn, almost too good.

Play with what you have, that is a solution for all RNG loot based games.

But yeah, crucible is too OP when it comes to loot. I rather see crucible get nerfed than buffing MC dungeons.

When I get all items in Grim Dawn, I will stop playing since then there is not more “hunt”

EDIT: finally dropped mythical faceguard of justice helm blueprint! In the feral ticket/trial of corruption. Not many left to find now…

Does the reroll work that way? I thought it only checked what you dropped during a single session?

Not being a fan of Crucible myself, i hope the new Shattered Realms provide a funnier way to collect loot for those of us don’t like the repetitive nature of Crucible.

RNG is strange thing.I’ve found blueprints people want, but i don’t need like Sentinel helmet, but i missed some more common ones.Anyway when i create new build it’s based on items in my possession, not the random drop items, which may never find

My understanding is that for items reroll works based on the session, as GD does not track what items dropped across sessions, while for BPs it is across sessions as the learned BPs basically track what dropped across sessions.

I do not know the actual code, so cannot say with 100% certainty, but that is my understanding - it also explains why duplicate uniques drop while duplicate BPs never drop (but that could be accomplished differently as well, so is no proof either)
